Character Customization

Racecraft: Another one of the top game mods for my gaming experience, and it has taken me years to figure out just how to make my character more unique. First off, lets talk about what a race truly is. A race is a set of character traits, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses that can be mixed and matched to create unique characters. For example, let's say that I have a small-sized character with small arms and legs. This would allow me to customize my character with any number of perks, abilities, and traits.

The reason that I love custom races so much is that they give you the ability to tailor every aspect of your character to your needs. For example, lets say that I'm going to create a Vampire who has the ability to drain health and speed. I could do this by choosing from a variety of different Vampire races including the Bat, Undead, and High Elf. Not only are there numerous options to choose from, but they all have different traits that allow me to custom-tailor my character to exactly what I want.

Customizing is very important to the game, and custom races help you do that. The biggest problem with playing a Baldurian or a Bretons is that their racial traits often conflict with each other. For example, I have a Bat who can drain health, but I also have a Bear character who has the ability to attack multiple times and is great at fighting multiple opponents at once. Without custom races, I would never be able to figure out how these two characters would ever interact, and this can become very frustrating at times.
